The Pulse of Camden Street Festival Series brings four dynamic events to neighborhoods across the city, each one hosted by a local nonprofit and rooted in the unique identity of its community. From artisan markets and food tastings to live performances and family fun, these festivals highlight the people and organizations shaping Camden’s future. Join us as we honor the talent, history, and heart of Camden, one block party at a time.

The series kicks off in South Camden with The Heart of Camden, a nonprofit known for transforming abandoned buildings into vibrant homes and cultural spaces. “The Maker’s Fest” will spotlight local artisans, youth creators, and community crafters. Expect hands-on workshops, live art demos, and a market full of handmade goods—a celebration of the talent and innovation blossoming right in our backyard.

Next, North Camden takes center stage. Camden Lutheran Housing Inc. has spent decades building affordable housing and advocating for community-driven development. The “North Camden Expo” will be a lively celebration filled with music, local performers, community vendors, and delicious food—all set against the backdrop of North Camden’s revitalization. Attendees can connect with neighborhood leaders and experience the vibrant culture and pride that define this thriving community.

One week later, head to East Camden for an unforgettable experience with Saint Joseph’s Carpenter Society, an organization focused on helping families achieve homeownership and financial independence. “A Taste of Camden” will feature diverse food vendors, local restaurants, live music, and great entertainment for the whole family. Come hungry and ready to experience Camden at its finest.

Finally, the series wraps up in Parkside, where PBCIP has been empowering residents and uplifting small businesses for more than 30 years. The “Haddon Avenue Street Festival” will be full of energy, featuring a live performance by Raheem Devauhn and local artists, local vendors, family fun activities, kids’ zones, and a full celebration of culture, legacy, and economic growth.
