Parkside Beats Out National Competition for Housing Funding
Parkside was a $75,000 winner in Wells Fargo’s Priority Markets program, a national effort to help communities increase the supply of affordable housing. The award will help to fund PBCIP’s workforce housing initiative to renovate homes on Park Boulevard for working families. PBCIP’s award was one of only 19 grants nationwide in a highly competitive program totaling $1.6 million in 17 Wells Fargo markets. Brenda Ross-Dulan, Southern New Jersey Regional President for Wachovia, a Wells Fargo company, presented the award at a press conference on Park Boulevard in front of a soon-to-be-rehabbed PBCIP home.
