Great Deal Available On Homes in Parkside

Don’t settle for “as is” when buying a home. And don’t buy a fixer upper that will be nothing but a headache. PBCIP homes are fully renovated with all new appliances, plumbing, heating and electric systems, beautiful new kitchens and bathrooms, first floor hardwood floors and more.

PBCIP homes offer all this for less than what
many people pay their landlord in rent!

Now is your opportunity to prepurchase for PBCIP’s next construction phase. PBCIP’s “gut rehab” method transforms currently vacant shells into beautiful homes where nearly everything is new. For more details, restrictions and available properties, contact PBCIP’s homeownership coordinator at mlawrence@pbcip.org or (856) 964-0440.

Parkside Beats Out National Competition for Housing Funding

Parkside was a $75,000 winner in Wells Fargo’s Priority Markets program, a national effort to help communities increase the supply of affordable housing. The award will help to fund PBCIP’s workforce housing initiative to renovate homes on Park Boulevard for working families. PBCIP’s award was one of only 19 grants nationwide in a highly competitive program totaling $1.6 million in 17 Wells Fargo markets. Brenda Ross-Dulan, Southern New Jersey Regional President for Wachovia, a Wells Fargo company, presented the award at a press conference on Park Boulevard in front of a soon-to-be-rehabbed PBCIP home.

Wells Fargo’s Brenda Ross-Dulan, PBCIP’s Bridget Phifer and Camden Mayor Gwendolyn Faison celebrate Wells Fargo’s award to Parkside.
